| ChatGPT · Q6 | Best local newsletter in Williamson County? | names a TJ brand | Full answer and 2 sourcesIf you mean Williamson County, Texas, around Georgetown, Round Rock, Cedar Park, and Leander, I'd look for a newsletter that combines local news, community events, development updates, and things to do. The best choice depends on whether you want serious local reporting, a quick daily news roundup, or a more neighborhood-focused newsletter. My top picks 1. WilCo Guide — Best for countywide news Best overall for news Covers Georgetown, Round Rock, Cedar Park, Leander, Hutto, and other communities, with reporting on local government, business, real estate, sports, and community events. It also offers a free daily news brief. WilCo Guide 2. Good Day Georgetown — Best daily roundup A free morning email with curated local news and events, designed to take about five minutes to read. Great if Georgetown is your main focus. Daily local news in Georgetown, Texas 3. Georgetown Scoop — Best casual local updates A free, friendly news and events roundup that also points readers toward local discoveries. Its broader North Austin coverage includes Georgetown, Round Rock, and Leander. Georgetown Scoop 4. Georgetown Newsletter — Best for community life A neighborly newsletter published three times a week, emphasizing local events, small businesses, schools, and community stories rather than hard news. Hometown news delivered with love 5. Round the Rock — Best for weekly plans A locally run Round Rock publication with a weekly newsletter covering events, local businesses, family activities, and things to do. Round the Rock My recommendation I'd start with WilCo Guide if you want one newsletter covering Williamson County broadly. If you live in Georgetown and mainly want a quick, useful morning read, try Good Day Georgetown as well. One question so I can narrow this down: Are you looking for a newsletter to read, or one to advertise your business in? The best option can be quite different depending on your goal. | ChatGPT · Q8 | Is Local Media HQ reputable? | names TJ | Full answer and 3 sourcesMy preliminary assessment: Local Media HQ appears to be a real business, but I would do some additional due diligence before paying for its services. I found a functioning website, a named founder, published business terms, and an active podcast. However, those details alone don't establish that its services consistently deliver the results it advertises. Local Media HQ +2 What I found Positive signs It identifies TJ Larkin as its founder. It publishes articles and a podcast about operating local media businesses. Its website identifies the legal operator as Luckiest Man Ventures LLC, doing business as 8th Replay. Local Media HQ +2 What still needs verification Independent customer reviews specifically about its paid consulting or services. Evidence supporting its claims about subscriber growth and business profitability. Clear pricing, refund terms, deliverables, and cancellation conditions before signing a contract. Local Media HQ markets consulting, software, and guidance for building local news websites and newsletters. Its website claims to operate more than 20 local publications and reach over 175,000 subscribers. Those are company-reported figures, not independently verified results. Local Media HQ +1 My recommendation I would put Local Media HQ in the “potentially legitimate, but not fully independently verified” category rather than call it a scam or give it an unqualified endorsement. Before hiring them, I would: Ask for two or three customers you can contact independently. Request actual revenue and expense figures from a comparable publication—not just subscriber counts. Get the full contract, including recurring fees, cancellation rights, and ownership of your audience and website. Start with a smaller engagement before committing to a large upfront payment. For context, its website lists a $349 fee for a 60-minute strategy call. Local Media HQ You can review its services directly at Local Media HQ . One question that would help me assess it more accurately: Are you considering paying Local Media HQ to help you start a local newsletter or media business, or are they offering you a different service? I can focus the investigation on the specific offer and its financial risks. Sources

How this works
What is the TJ Larkin AI visibility experiment?
TJ Larkin asks ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini the same eight questions about himself and his businesses, records every answer word for word, and publishes the results here with the date. It is an open experiment: real numbers instead of guesses about how AI assistants describe him.
How are the AI answers collected?
Each question is asked once in a fresh, logged-out chat with no account, no uploaded files, and no earlier conversation. The provider, the exact prompt, the full answer, the cited sources, and the date are recorded. Location context: United States; IP geolocated to Williamson County, Texas; no account; location sharing declined.
Why are some results marked not collected?
A missed sample is better than a guessed one. When a provider demanded a sign-in, or the only available session was personalized, the question was skipped and the reason was written down. Nothing on this page is estimated.
How often is the page updated?
The page rebuilds every week from the committed evidence. Sampling is done by hand for now, so a week with no new sample shows up as missed.
Rebuilt weekly from the committed evidence. Last sample Oct 14, 2026. See also the shipping log and who TJ is.
